Sign Permits
Have you been contemplating placing a sign on your property? If so, you may be required to apply for and obtain a sign permit [PDF - 116 KB] prior to erecting the sign structure. Sign regulations are contained in Part 7, Division 2, of the Land Use Bylaw [PDF - 498 KB].
Be sure to know the zoning of your property prior to reading the Sign regulations in the Land Use Bylaw [PDF - 498 KB], as the zoning will affect the types/sizes of permitted signs in various sign zones. You can check the zoning of your property by viewing the Zoning Map [PDF - 2.2 MB].
