View Royal has a thriving arts community with visual and performing arts being central to many in their day-to-day lives. The Town is a full participant in the Capital Regional District's Arts Service which provides operating and project grants to the festivals, performing arts, general arts and visual arts of non-profit organizations such as the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, Ballet Victoria, the Victoria Jazz Society, and the Victoria Symphony.
As well, the Town enjoys the work of Juan de Fuca Arts and Crafts Guild members through its Roaming Art Gallery Program. Under this Program, local artists exhibit their work in the Town Hall. Installations change regularly - come in and tour the "gallery".
