Draft Chilco Trails Plan
As part of recent development activities around the Chilco Rd/Thetis Vale portions of the Atkins
neighbourhood, The Town of View Royal has received significant contributions of park land.
It was intended that this land be opened to public access, and recent contributions from the
developer of the area has allowed the Town to engage in trail planning work. The Town has
engaged Daly Landscape Architecture, members of the View Royal Parks, Recreation and
Environment Advisory Committee and members of the public to jointly develop an appropriate
trails network concept for the Chilco area. Included in the decision-making process was public
input from a November 12, 2011 Public Open House to discuss the proposed trail alignments.
The Town is pleased to present both a Context Plan of the overall proposed trails network, and
a Trails Alignment Concept Plan which highlights the proposed first phases of trail development.

UPDATED INFORMATION Open House - APRIL 5, 2012.
An Open House will be held at the Town Hall on April 5, 2011 from 3pm - 7pm.
