Vote By Mail Ballot

Registered electors (resident or non-resident) may vote by mail if they:

  • have a physical disability, illness or injury that affect their ability to vote at another voting opportunity; OR
  • expect to be absent from the Town on general voting day (October 20, 2018) and at the times of all advance voting opportunities (October 10 and 16, 2018).

Electors must complete and submit an application form to the Town of View Royal in order to receive a mail ballot.

IMPORTANT:  In order to be counted for the election, your mail ballot must be received by the Chief Election Officer or Deputy Chief Election Officer at View Royal Town Hall (45 View Royal Avenue) by the close of business at 4:30pm on Friday, October 19, 2018.  Alternately, you may arrange for the ballot to be hand delivered to the Chief Election Officer at View Royal Elementary School (218 Helmcken Road) between 8:00am and 8:00pm on general voting day on Saturday, October 20, 2018.

If you have further questions about mail ballot voting, please contact the Deputy Chief Election Officer at 250-479-6800 or info@viewroyal.ca.
