IHIP Traffic Update
August 27, 2010
Please be advised that Don Mann Excavating Ltd. is continuing with construction activities on the Town of View Royal's Island Highway Improvement Project (IHIP), along Island Highway between Beaumont Avenue and the E&N Rail Trestle.
Expect alternating single-lane traffic:
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, continuing this week
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday, August 30th to Thursday, September 2nd . Rock blasting activities continue this week. Flag persons are stopping traffic for up to a total of 10 minutes. However, downstream traffic delays may vary.

No Construction Over the Holiday
Friday, September 3rd to Monday, September 6th, inclusive.
A 30 km/hr construction zone speed limit is in effect and will be enforced. Please use caution when driving through the site, and traffic personnel are to be obeyed (and respected) at all times. Offenders will be reported to RCMP.
