IHIP Traffic Update
August 4, 2010
Please be advised that Don Mann Excavating Ltd. is continuing with construction activities on the Town of View Royal's Island Highway Improvement Project (IHIP), along Island Highway between Beaumont Avenue and the E&N Rail Trestle.
EXPECT ALTERNATING SINGLE-LANE TRAFFIC:
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, continuing this week
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday, August 9th to Friday, August 13
Intermittent rock blasting activities may require full road closures of up to 10 minutes maximum - please use alternate route. Due to the nature of this work, we are unable to provide a more accurate schedule of temporary road closures. Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
A 30 km/hr construction zone speed limit is in effect and will be enforced. Please use caution when driving through the site, and traffic personnel are to be obeyed (and respected) at all times. Offenders will be reported to RCMP.
