Support for New Rotary Picnic Playground

The Colwood Rotary Club and West Shore Parks & Recreation are working in partnership to a build a new playground in the West Shore. The $244,000 project will be located near the Rotary Picnic Shelter in the Lower Park at Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre. This new playground will not only have the latest in children's park equipment but will also include features for children with disabilities and wheel chair accessible surfacing. They have currently raised $92,200 towards the project and hope our community can help them reach the goal.
