Looking for Volunteers for 2018 Canada Day Celebrations

Calling All Volunteers!!!  Town of View Royal - Canada Day Celebrations – July 1, 2018

 The Town of View Royal is seeking volunteers for its’ Canada Day celebration on July 1, 2018 at the Craigflower Manor (Island Highway and Admirals Road). 

Here are a few examples where you can contribute to View Royal’s Canada Day celebrations:

  • Area set up – including the kids play area – 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
  • Area tear down and clean up – 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Assist in the kids play area – entrance, welcoming children, coordinate kids for face painting and balloon artists
  • Assisting at Volunteer View Royal booth – handing out site maps, answering questions, distributing Canada Day souvenirs etc.
  • Cutting and distributing special Canada Day cake
  • Entertainment – assisting performers on and off the stage,

Working in two-hour shifts, volunteers can choose not only where they’d like to help out but what time of day is best suited for them.  We’ll have a booth too where all volunteers can come for refreshments, take a break etc..  We’ll be on site from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 6:00 p.m.   

All volunteers receive a Canada Day t-shirt and name tag!
