New - Live Webcast Meetings

The Town of View Royal is pleased to announce that Council meetings and public hearings are now held with live webcast. 

Beginning on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 Council meetings and public hearings will now be able to be seen and heard from the comfort of your own living room.

At Council meetings and public hearings, people have the opportunity to provide comments to Council. This input can be provided during the meeting or public hearing either by interactive telephone or through the chat feature.

Join by phone (audio only):

Please note the following instructions for when you call in to the live webcast:

  • Dial 778-402-9227 (conference ID number will be provided on the agenda and will be different for each meeting).
  • When you hear the Chair announce the last 4 digits of your phone number, mute the live webcast to avoid feedback.
  • Press *6 (star 6) on your phone to unmute.
  • State your name and address.
  • Then provide Council the benefit of your views. 

Post a comment in the live webcast:

  • Click Q & A on the top right corner of your screen.
  • Type your comment in the box and select "Send".
  • Your comment will be read aloud to Council.

You are still welcome to provide your comments by email to mayorandcouncil@viewroyal.ca or by mail to Mayor and Council, Town of View Royal, 45 View Royal Avenue, Victoria, BC V9B 1A6.  The deadline to receive submissions is 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting.
