Candidate Readiness Workshop

August 18, 2026 (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

Individuals interested in running in the 2026 General Local Election are invited to attend an upcoming Candidate Readiness Workshop at View Royal Town Hall on Tuesday, August 18 starting at 6:00pm. The session will provide an opportunity to learn more about the role of elected officials. Attendance is drop-in and registration is not required.

This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get the information you need to decide if running is right for you.

Nomination packages will be available for those interested in running as a candidate in the 2026 General Local Election beginning Friday, July 31. Packages can be picked up at Town Hall (45 View Royal Avenue) or can be downloaded through our elections webpage.
