Westside Wastewater Treatment & Resource Recovery

Colwood, Esquimalt, Langford, View Royal and Songhees Nation are working together to find a westside solution to Wastewater Treatment and Resource Recovery.
The provincial and federal governments have mandated that wastewater must be treated in an environmentally responsible way. A westside solution could allow municipalities to maximize the benefits and value for tax dollars to participating communities by identifying the unique needs of the westside and exploring alternate treatment technologies.
A series of public discussion sessions, or open houses, will be held in every community on the west side. Citizens will be presented with information on wastewater treatment and invited to provide input through a survey.
