View Royal, BC - The Town of View Royal has engaged NRG Research Group to conduct a citizen satisfaction and engagement survey. The survey will evaluate services delivered by the Town and its communications as well as identify residents’ top priorities. Information gathered will feed into the Town’s Strategic Plan, a plan that provides a road map for the future of the community.

“Council is looking forward to hearing from a broad range of residents about the Town’s performance in key areas like parks and trails, transportation, and community engagement” said Mayor David Screech. “If NRG Research Group calls you, please take the time to participate and share your views.”

The survey is being conducted from February 11 to 24, 2019. During this time, NRG Research Group will telephone between 400 and 500 household in the Town by random digit dialing, including cellphone-only households. For those who are not selected to participate in the telephone survey and wish to let Council know their thoughts, the survey will also be available on the Town’s website from February 11 to 24, 2019.

Community input gathered in the survey will be presented to Council at the Committee of the Whole meeting in March (March 12, 2019) and will feed into Council’s Strategic Plan.

Participation is voluntary and individual responses will be kept confidential. To encourage participation in the telephone survey, a prize draw will be held for those who complete it.
