Town of View Royal Seeks Feedback on Draft Accessibility Plan

View Royal, BC - To improve accessibility in our community, the Town of View Royal has completed a draft Accessibility Plan. The draft Plan is a major step in our long-term goal of striving towards becoming a barrier-free community. The Plan focusses initially on employment and service delivery – the first two of eight accessibility standards identified in the Accessible BC Act – and will evolve over time to incorporate six additional standards.

We want to hear from YOU! Submit your feedback by 4:30pm on November 15, 2024. You can review the Plan on our website or at Town Hall and share your thoughts by:

Help us work towards making View Royal a barrier-free community!

The Plan and comments received will then come back to View Royal Council for consideration of Plan approval at an upcoming Council meeting.

Once the Plan is finalized, it will be reviewed and updated every three years.
