2026 General Local Election: Advance Voting Begins October 7

View Royal electors will have two opportunities to cast their ballot in advance of General Voting Day. Advance voting will be held at View Royal Town Hall, 45 View Royal Avenue, from 8:00am to 8:00pm on:
- Wednesday, October 7, 2026
- Tuesday, October 13, 2026
Advance voting can be a convenient option for voters looking to avoid busier polling times. Town Hall also offers the shortest distance between parking and the voting location for those with mobility considerations.
While all voting locations were selected with accessibility in mind, each location will offer curbside voting which allows eligible voters to vote at their vehicle with no need to enter the voting place. Upon arrival at your chosen voting place, please look for the marked "Curbside Voting" parking spaces and park there. An Election Official will attend to you.
There is no need to register in advance. Voter registration takes place when you vote.

General Voting Day is Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Voting will take place at View Royal Elementary School (218 Helmcken Road) and Eagle View Elementary School (97 Talcott Road).
