2026 General Local Election: Candidates & Mail Ballot Information

On Saturday, October 17, View Royal voters will elect one Mayor and six Councillors, as well as School Trustees for either School District No. 61 or School District No. 62, depending on where they live.

Declaration of Candidates

The Declaration of Candidates for Mayor and Council is now available. Visit the Town’s Elections webpage to see who is running and find candidate information.

Mail Ballot Applications Now Available

Eligible voters can apply to vote by mail. Applications are available online or can be picked up at View Royal Town Hall. Completed applications can be submitted by mail, email, or in person.

Voter Accessibility

While all voting locations were selected with accessibility in mind, each location will offer curbside voting which allows eligible voters to vote at their vehicle with no need to enter the voting place. Upon arrival at your chosen voting place, please look for the marked "Curbside Voting" parking spaces and park there. An Election Official will attend to you.
