Have Your Say on View Royal’s 2026 Budget

Budget season is here! Each year, the Town of View Royal develops a financial plan to fund essential services like emergency response, parks, infrastructure, and more.

The proposed 2026 budget includes funding for police, fire, and asset management, with a projected 8.69% increase in municipal property tax revenue. To ensure future infrastructure needs are met, a 2.35% tax increase will go toward sustainable funding for future asset replacement. This includes a 1% annual tax increase for 2026 as part of the Town’s Strategic Infrastructure Replacement Plan financial strategy to get to sustainable funding.
