Town of View Royal Council Adopts New Official Community Plan

View Royal’s new Official Community Plan has been adopted by Council, marking a major milestone in the View Royal 2050 process.

The new OCP provides a long-term plan for how View Royal will grow and change over the next 20 years. It will guide decisions about land use, housing, transportation, parks and recreation, the natural environment, climate action, economic development, community wellbeing, and infrastructure.

The plan was shaped through extensive community engagement over the past two years. Residents, businesses, community organizations, and other community members participated through surveys, workshops, open houses, pop-ups, and other opportunities to share their ideas and feedback.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate and help shape the future of View Royal.
