Westshore Emergency Preparedness Fair Invites Residents to Get Ready

Residents across the Westshore are invited to attend the 2026 Emergency Preparedness Fair, a free, family-friendly event focused on helping individuals and families better prepare for emergencies. The fair brings together several response agencies and supporting organizations from across the Greater Victoria region, with a special focus this year on Westshore emergency programs and responders.

The Emergency Preparedness Fair will feature:

  • Live demonstrations
  • Earthquake Simulator
  • Interactive displays and hands-on learning
  • Emergency preparedness tips and resources
  • Activities for children and families
  • Food vendors
  • Volunteer opportunities with local organizations

The fair highlights the importance of personal and community preparedness in the face of emergencies such as wildfires, earthquakes, and severe weather events. It also provides a central place for residents to learn about the roles different agencies play and how they work together during a response.
