Each Canada Day, the Town of View Royal hosts a vibrant, family-friendly celebration that brings the community together in honour of Canada’s birthday. Set against the historic backdrop of Craigflower Manor, this annual event features live entertainment, cultural displays, and fun activities for all ages.

This year’s festivities take place on Wednesday, July 1, from 10:00am to 3:30pm, in partnership with the Victoria Highland Games AssociationAdmission is free, and everyone is welcome!

Volunteer With Us

Be part of View Royal’s most anticipated community events! The Town is seeking volunteers to support the Canada Day celebration at Craigflower Manor and the Scottish Cultural Centre.
 
There are a variety of ways to get involved, with flexible 2 to 3 hour shifts available throughout the day. Volunteers can choose roles and times that work best for them. Opportunities include:
  • Event setup (tents and chairs), 8:00am to 10:00am
  • Event tear-down and cleanup, 3:30pm to 4:30pm
  • Greeting attendees and supporting activity areas, including face painting and balloon artists, 10:00am to 3:30pm
  • Assisting at the welcome booth, providing information, maps, and souvenirs, 10:00am to 3:30pm
  • Supporting performers on and off stage, 10:00am to 3:00pm
A volunteer booth will be available on site for breaks and refreshments, and all volunteers will receive a Canada Day t-shirt.
