Voting Dates & Locations

Advance Voting Opportunities:

Two advance voting opportunities will be held in the View Royal Town Hall Council Chambers, at 45 View Royal Avenue:

  • Wednesday, October 7, 2026, 8:00am until 8:00pm;
  • Tuesday, October 13, 2026, 8:00am until 8:00pm.

General Voting Day: 

General Voting Day will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 8:00am until 8:00pm at the following locations:

Voter Accessibility

While all voting locations were selected with accessibility in mind, each location offers curbside voting which allows eligible voters to vote at their vehicle with no need to enter the voting place. Upon arrival at your chosen voting place, please look for the marked "Curbside Voting" parking spaces and park there. An Election Official will attend to you. 

If you require assistance to mark your ballot, a trusted person may accompany you in the voting place and can be authorized to assist you after completing a form that will be available in the voting place. 

Mail Ballot

Registered electors (resident and non-resident) may request a mail ballot by filling out an application to vote by mail. Mail ballot packages are anticipated to be sent by regular letter mail or available for pick up starting October 1, 2026. October 6, 2026 is the last day packages will be sent by regular letter mail. After October 6, mail ballot packages will be available for pick up at Town Hall and must be picked up no later than 4:30 p.m. on October 13, 2026.

Mail ballots must be received by Town Hall no later than 4:30pm on Friday, October 16. Alternatively, voters may deliver their ballot to the Chief Election Officer at View Royal Elementary School on Saturday, October 17 (General Voting Day) until 8:00pm.

It is the responsibility of the elector to ensure that this deadline is met.
