Local Government Election 2022: Candidates & Mail Ballot Information

In View Royal, eligible voters will cast their ballot to elect:

• one (1) Mayor;
• six (6) Councillors;
• nine (9) Greater Victoria School District No. 61 Trustees;
  
• four (4) Sooke School District No. 62 Trustees. 

Declaration of Candidates

Mail Ballot Applications Now Available

Anyone eligible to vote may request a mail ballot by filling out an application to vote by mail [PDF - 786 KB]. Printed applications are also available for pick up at Town Hall. Completed applications can be submitted to View Royal Town Hall by mail, fax, email or in person. Voting Days

General Voting Day will be held on Saturday, October 15 from 8:00am to 8:00pm. All municipalities and electoral areas in B.C. will be holding local government elections on the same day.
