Nomination Packages Now Available for the 2022 Election

Nomination packages are now available for persons interested in running for a position on Town Council for the upcoming General Local Election to be held on October 15, 2022.

On Saturday, October 15, 2022, eligible voters will cast their ballot to elect:

  • one (1) Mayor;
  • six (6) Councillors;
  • nine (9) School Board Trustees for Greater Victoria School District No. 61;
  • four (4) School Board Trustees for Sooke School District No. 62.

If you are interested in running for a position on Town Council, download the nomination package or pick up a copy at Town Hall, 45 View Royal Ave, on weekdays from 8:00am - 4:00pm (excluding statutory holidays).

The period to file nomination documents at Town Hall is from 9:00am on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 until 4:00pm on Friday, September 9, 2022.
