Best in Bloom View Royal

 

It’s time to celebrate the beauty of spring in View Royal. Best in Bloom View Royal returns to showcase the community’s most vibrant and creative gardens. The Town is inviting residents to help recognize the homes and businesses that bring colour, care, and creativity to our neighbourhoods.
 
Beginning Wednesday, April 22, nominations will be accepted for gardens that stand out, from lush lawns and blooming flower beds to unique landscaping and eye-catching designs. Whether it’s a front yard full of flowers, a thoughtfully designed garden, or a space that simply makes you smile, we want to see how View Royal is in bloom. Once nominations close, residents will be invited to vote for their favourite gardens and help choose this year’s winners.
 
This year’s contest includes two categories:
  • People’s Choice: Community members cast their votes for their favourite gardens.
  • Council’s Choice: Members of Town Council select their top garden.
Each winner will receive a $50 gift card and year-long bragging rights as one of View Royal’s best gardens.

Starting Saturday, May 2, take a tour around View Royal to see all the nominated gardens.

A beautiful multiseasonal garden with great variety of flowering plants on multiple levels. The owner obviously puts a lot of work into looking at making it look fantastic.

Been watching this garden grow and evolve over the past years! Bursting with color mid summer, cottage style garden with many varieties of annuals and perennials.

I cycle by every day and it’s so refreshing to see large mature plants that compliment the neighborhood so well! The garden is a true asset to our community.

 This is my neighbours house and their front yard is packed with wild cottage blooms from spring to fall and always brings me joy to see.

 Each year, the home owner enhances the garden, always adding elements of interest and joy to the neighborhood, to the wildlife, and to our community. There is always something new to see when gazing at the garden.
