Office of the Mayor & CAO

The Office of the Mayor & Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) provides the link between Town Council and Town Administration (staff), the community, and other levels of government.

The CAO is responsible to Council for the management of the municipal workforce, and for overseeing that Council's directions and policies are carried out. The CAO is the senior staff leader who provides leadership, control and direction to all Town departments and operations.

The department also coordinates corporate communications, correspondence, strategic planning, website administration, Freedom of Information & Protection of Privacy (FOI), and Human Resources functions.
