Canada Post Strike: Plan Ahead
September 29, 2025
Note: Deadline Extended - Register for Online Services by October 17 to Receive Your Sewer Utility Invoice by Email
On Thursday, September 25, Canada Post announced a nationwide strike. This could affect the timely arrival of sewer utility invoices, which are scheduled to be mailed in the third week of October, as well as your ability to make payments by mail.
To avoid delays, the Town of View Royal encourages all residents and businesses to register for Online Services by October 17, 2025.
By registering, you can receive your sewer utility invoice by email and access tools to view and pay for other Town services such as business licence renewals, property taxes, and more.
How to Register for Online Services
- Go to www.viewroyal.ca and select Online Services under Quicklinks on the home page.
