Council Meetings

In light of the World Health Organization’s pandemic declaration regarding COVID-19 and the resultant Provincial state of emergency, View Royal Council has decided at this time to hold two Council meetings each month electronically. 

These Council meetings will take place on the regularly scheduled Council meeting dates set for the first and third Tuesday of each month. 

The regularly scheduled Committee of the Whole meetings and the Town's Advisory Committee meetings will resume in September. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Town Hall has limited access at this time and for the protection of the community, Council and staff, meetings are currently being held without the public present under the Province’s Ministerial Order No. M192. However, if you would like to participate in the meeting by providing your comments to Council, please submit your written comments to the Town via email to info@viewroyal.ca or put them in the Town’s mail drop box (located to the left of the main doors at Town Hall, 45 View Royal Avenue), up until 3:00 p.m. on the Tuesday of that Council meeting for inclusion in the Council agenda.

Council meetings will be live webcast starting July 7, 2020, taking into account the Public Health Order restriction on gatherings and physical distancing limitations. In the meantime, draft minutes of meetings are posted in a timely manner to assist in the sharing of information from regular Council meetings.
