Parking Tickets

Parking regulations in the Town of View Royal are enforced under the Streets Bylaw No. 980, 2019. Tickets are issued in accordance with the Municipal Ticket Information Bylaw No. 643, 2007, which sets out the fine amounts and enforcement process.
 
Parking tickets may be issued for violations such as:
  • Parking on or near a bicycle lane
  • Parking in a no parking zone
  • Parking in contravention of signage
  • Parking adjacent to a yellow/red painted curb
  • Parking on a street for longer than 72 hours
Fine amounts are established in accordance with the bylaw and are indicated on the ticket.

How to Pay a Ticket

Online by Credit Card

To pay a municipal ticket by Visa or Mastercard, email the Finance Department at finance@viewroyal.ca with:
  • Your Municipal Ticket Information number
  • The amount of the ticket
The Finance Department will email you a secure payment link. 
 
In Person
Municipal tickets can also be paid in person at Town Hall during regular business hours by:
  • Debit
  • Cash
  • Cheque
  • Credit Card
