Recycling

Curbside recycling is offered to all View Royal residents through the Capital Regional District's Blue Box Recycling Program (the Program). The Program is operated and administered by the Capital Regional District's Environmental Services Branch.

Recycling for residents who live in condominium buildings and housing co-ops should speak with the building management to confirm if your building has contracted for recycling pick-up as condominium and housing co-op buildings are not included in curbside pickup.

Blue Boxes & Blue Bags

The Program provides residents with one CRD blue box and two blue bags per home. If you are a new View Royal resident or require a replacement blue box or blue bag, please visit Town Hall (45 View Royal Avenue) or contact the CRD's collection contractor GFL Environmental by calling 236-470-0186 or by email.

Missed Collection?

Check if your materials have been tagged with a preparation sticker. If there does not appear to be an issue and your items are not picked up by 9:00pm on your collection day, please leave materials at the curb and contact GFL Environmental at 236-470-0186 or email.

There is no limit to the amount of material you may place at the curb.

You can also drop your recyclables off for free at Recycle BC depots in the region.
