2020-05 - 9 Erskine Lane

A webcast Public Hearing meeting to rezone the property at 9 Erskine Lane is scheduled for November 17, 2020.

The proposal is to rezone the subject property from A-1: Rural to CD-25: Erskine Lane Residential to permit a proposed 336 units in studio, one, two and three-bedroom purpose-built rental configurations, with 10% of the units set at affordable housing rental rates.

The proposed Floor Space Ratio is 1.5 in Subzone A and 1.15 in Subzone B, for a combined 1.27 FSR over the entire property. The four buildings are a proposed 5 storeys and 15.5m high. The proposal will upgrade Erskine Lane to an 18m right-of-way with sidewalks on both sides and shared bicycle/vehicle lanes with parking pullouts. The Watkiss Way/Erskine Lane intersection is proposed to be upgraded with a traffic circle/roundabout.

The project will provide many sustainable initiatives including electric vehicle pre-wiring for all required parking spaces, car and bicycle share programs on-site, and a high standard of sustainable building.
